I don’t know much about this player. I only know he played with a weird keyed flute. He sounds very traditional and I realy like the way he plays.

I’m sure that Paddy Carty called it something else (maybe Stone in field or Tom Moylans or something) but it is also often called Tommy Coen’s - there’s a recording of Joey Doyle doing it some justice (understatement) on RTE’s Bloom of Youth Series, and that’s what he calls it. The MOrrison Trio called it Sean Ryans, but probably mistakenly. But who knows. Nice recordings got any more?

Thx. There is another tune at the end and it sounds really nice after Tommy Coen’s. Do you know the name of the last tune ? I have 27 mp3 parts like this one and I will upload them. Alex
